1. Tell us a little about yourself (name, what you do for a living, general area where you live, etc.): My name is Steve, I live in NC and I'm a senior at NCSU. I currently work as an accountant/financial analyst for a local entrepreneur.
2. Armory profile for main character:
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Mug%27thol&n=Thundernuts3. Full WoW guild history, starting with the most recent. Please include dates, servers, highest boss killed, classes you have played, and reason for leaving: I originally played back in vanilla days and took a 2 year break during BC. I returned and joined Impulse shortly after the release of WotLK (Dec 08). Cleared all Naxx, Maly, Sarth 3d (Who hasn't at this point? lol). Soon after 3.1 Impulse collapsed and some of the officers created Origins, which I then joined. Since, we have cleared normal Ulduar (pre nerfs), and have started work on 25 man hard modes. Our ten-man hard mode teams have cleared everything up to Mimiron, so I am familiar with the concepts and strategies of each of the ulduar encounters normal and hard. Interested in moving on from Origins because the guild's foundation is starting to weaken and its become hard to fill our 25 man raids, let alone progress into harder content (Ulduar normal is a cake walk at this point).
4. Do you know anyone in For Great Justice that can vouch for your skill (it would be wise to speak to them before listing them here)? None!
5. What other games have you played (if applicable, include achievements in those games)? You name it, I played it. My MMO history includes EQ, Warhammer, Guild Wars (Yeah I know), Dark age of Camelot, Star Wars Galaxies (Pre NGE). I also play 360 and ps3 games when I'm bored of WoW.
6. What, if any, is your experience in PvP in WoW in regards to team vs. team battlegrounds or arenas?
I'm a huge fan of PvP in MMO's, but WoW is the worst game for PvP content so I tend to shy away from arenas. I think the developers have spent too much time nerfing classes to balance each other out that each class is the same at this point. The only arena experience I have was 2v2 with my irl friend, but time has prevented us from attempting to continue. I do enjoy organized BG's as team based combat is a blast.
7. Tell us the funniest experience you have had in WoW:
Origins does the kamikaze Mimiron trash approach and its always a race to see who gets to the tram the fastest and can press the button leaving everyone else to die; I always win (Rogue PvP Prep Spec FTW)! The sounds of virtual death and yells of anger in vent soothe my soul.
8. If you were to be accepted into For Great Justice, what would you hope to gain from your membership and what would you contribute?
I've always been a very active member of any guild I have joined. I believe that helping take any guild to the next level is up to all members and requires input from everyone, not just officers. Currently I spend about 1-2 hours a week fishing to provide the mats for Fish Feasts so that we can throw them down for every encounter. Mut is my main spec, but if our other combat rogue doesn't show up, I will switch specs and get my CG out so that I can provide the buff. I love the people I play with, and that's why I continue to play the game. All I want out of any guild is to meet some great people that will help make myself a better player while experiencing new content. Over on the Origins forums my moto has always been very simple, "Keep Moving Foward."
